We have recently upgraded our cabin with a small fridge that operates while the generator is running. Please note that the fridge will be turned off overnight to conserve energy. If you require more cooled space or are planning a longer stay, we also offer the option of using a chillybin with frozen water bottles as an additional cooling method.
Using the Chillybin:
Our simple chillybin setup effectively maintains a low temperature without the need for constant electric refrigeration. This is an excellent option for those who need extra cooling space.
Managing the Chillybin:
Bottle Rotation: The frozen bottles in the chillybin will need to be rotated every couple of days to ensure optimal cooling. We provide this service to make your stay more comfortable.
Arranging Bottle Replacement: Please speak with us to organise the rotation of the frozen bottles. We're here to assist and ensure you have everything you need.
Help Us Maintain Efficiency:
Keep It Closed: To maintain the chillybin's effectiveness, please ensure it is kept closed as much as possible.
Plan Ahead: Try to decide what you need before opening the chillybin, to minimise the time it's open and keep the cool air in.
